“Dayna” was started as a writing exercise. I was at a party and someone had written “love like a hurricane” in refrigerator word magnets. I thought it an Interesting sounding line and decided to use it. When asked about the title “Dayna” Justin explains, “While out one night at The Red Carpet I was talking with my friend Dana. As a songwriter you’re constantly thinking about the your newest songs and singing them in your head. Her name fit perfect and I asked her if I could use her name. She happily complied.”

Justin McGuinn …A New Single Each Month

It’s been 30 days since Justin McGuinn released his first single “Since You’ve Gone” and already has his
second release entitled “Dayna” available for download. “It’s all part of the plan” says Justin. “I’ve been
stock piling melodies and song ideas away too long and want to continue to grow as a songwriter and artist.
To me, that means seeing old ideas through while continuing to create new ones”. Justin will be performing
at the Pioneer Place Theater in St. Cloud on November 2nd for a very special Single Release Performance.
Joining Justin on stage will be: James Anton, Casey Smith, Jon Herchert and Peter Anderson who have
performed with Jonny Lang, Jessie Lang, Greazy Meal, The Honeydogs, The Fabulous Armadillos and
Sniffawiffadis. “I am very excited about this line up and feel honored to share the stage with this group”

Justin McGuinn “Since You’ve Gone”

Justin Mcguinn has been busy writing a collection of new material and revisiting old one’s that have yet to be released. “I’ve been stashing away song ideas for years and just recently been bringing them to life”. His first single entitled “Since You’ve Gone” is now available for download on ITunes. Written after a break up, Justin explains, “I wrote the song from beginning to end while lying in bed one morning. By the time I had finished it I felt better about the situation. I even debuted it at my show that night”.

It’s Official Jeff Loven is now part of the InGroup team. Jeff, Minnesota’s #1 One Man Band, has been performing about 250 times a year for over 10 years. Chester Bay in Rolling Stone!

Chester Bay Wins National Battle Of The Bands Competition sponsored by Land Shark Lager.

After hundreds of bands and thousands of votes casted, it was Chester Bay that received the grand prize package valued at over $100,000. Here’s how it worked! Bands were asked to submit an Electronic Press Kit (EPK) which was to feature a band photo, bio and their favorite original tune. They were then asked to generate as many votes as possible on the Land Shark BOTB hub. At the end of a specified period, 60 bands with the most votes would move on. From there, a panel of music executives and representative from Land Shark lager chose their 12 favorite bands. Finally, a live video was created for each of the remaining artists and placed on Land Lager BOTB hub were fans would vote for the winner. Ultimately, it was Chester Bay who finished on top. As a result, The band received a full-page Land Shark advertorial in Rolling Stone magazine, a digital distribution deal with reapandsow and 2 million banner ads to promote their new release on RollingStone.com.
